Home/Outdoor Decking

Outdoor decking

Decking that ages well, on purpose.

From courtyards in Sellwood to mountain-side homes in the Cascades, our decking is profile-milled, end-sealed and finish-ready before it leaves the yard. Choose a board, choose a profile, choose a finish — we handle the rest.

Finishes

Four ways to finish a deck.

A

Penetrating oil

Hard-wax or marine-grade oils that soak in, hold colour and refresh easily without sanding.

B

Natural greying

Untreated cedar and pitch pine that silver gracefully — a deliberate, low-maintenance choice.

C

Pigmented stain

Semi-transparent stain in five tones, dipped at the mill before dispatch for an even finish.

D

Thermal modification

Heat-treated boards with deeper colour and improved dimensional stability for shaded sites.

How an order moves through the mill.

Every decking order follows the same five-stage path: brief in, board pull, profile and end-seal, finish and pack, dispatch. We assign one mill foreman per project so there's a single name on the email chain — no relay, no surprises.

  • Day 1–2: brief, samples, fixed-price quote.
  • Day 3–7: rough boards pulled and graded.
  • Day 8–14: profile, end-seal and finish.
  • Day 15–18: pack, label, dispatch with care notes.
